Music Appreciation on Vangeli's "Conquest Of Paradise"

Here you can read and download  a worksheet on music appreciation to use in your class.

 The piece is called "Conquest of Paradise" composed by Vangelis Papathanasiou. It was the main theme of Ridley Scott's movie "1492. Conquest of Paradise". More information about the movie can be found here.

Students are to listen and reflect. I usually have them answering to all the questions while they listen to the piece without watching the video.  The worksheet contains also two research questions for students to complete at home or after listening.
I have used it for several years in music lessons in year 6, but it works well with older students as well.
